Dr. Brandon Pardekooper
From the time I was old enough to understand leadership and working with a team, I have thrived on the pursuit of working with high-powered leaders who are focused on changing the world. My hope is you see yourself that way and you decide to lend your voice to the Modern Inklings community.
Over the last 20 years I have dedicated myself to practicing the art of leadership and earning degrees in Biblical Studies, Youth Ministries, Organizational Leadership, and Strategic Leadership Foresight in a pursuit to understand the most effective leadership approaches. Along with my education, I have held leadership positions as a pastor, university professor, and now as an entrepreneur.
My goal has been to train extraordinary leaders to do great things. For the last 10 years, that is exactly what I have been doing.
Today, I dedicate my experience and education to building a community of like minded people working toward a better .
This is the premise Modern Inklings is built upon.
The Fellowship of the Inklings
In 1933, in the backroom of an English pub, a group of literary geniuses met together as scholars and friends. They called themselves the Inklings.
They would spend hours sharing ideas, reading their latest literary works, and pushing one another to expand their minds. From the dim light of the Eagle and Child pub came stories of fantastical imagination that moved beyond fictional musings and became culture shaping literary works.
Among this influential group of authors were renowned writers J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, authors of the Lord of the Rings and Chronicles of Narnia respectively. Did they have any idea how much they would impact the world simply by having these conversations?
Modern Inklings is designed after this group of unassuming world-changers. For the Inklings, their conversations revolved around literature, while Modern Inklings focuses the conversation on leadership. However, just like the Inklings, we endeavor to make an impact on our world that lasts beyond us.
Modern Inklings provides a variety of organizational leadership solutions for churches and businesses of all kinds. The goal is to empower leaders to leverage their influence to position their organizations for success. We do this through leadership training, tool implementation, and increased foresight awareness.
